flatspace

The flatspace library is not really a library, but more a hack for the sake of supporting the old pd-externals package within Pd-extended. Since Pd-extended uses libdir as the format for the included libraries, the pd-externals aliases where built into the libdir called flatspace in Pd-extended.

flatspace is deprecated, and should not be used or added to. Instead use the objects from their original library. It also should not be modified for the sake of backwards compatibility.
