Editing this Wiki

Because we were getting a lot of spam, we are trying a new way of preventing spam.

  • you must login in order to edit
    • you can use your own account
    • or, you can use the pre-created account, the account is called pdpedia and the password is puredata.

You can also get your own account, but a human needs to create it for you. All user accounts in this wiki have permissions to create accounts. So just ask someone who has an account to make you one. If you don't know someone with a pdpedia account, try these internet groups:

Creating an account for a human

If anyone asks you to create them an account on pdpedia, please do! Here's how:

  1. login to your pdpedia account
  2. go to Special:Userlogin&type=signup and create the account for them with their email address

You can read more about this in the media wiki manual: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Setting_user_rights_in_MediaWiki If you are a sysop then you can also manage the groups a user account belongs to. Thats in the Special:Userrights page.
